Recap: Raghav surprises Malini with a dinner with his and her friends

Morning Raghav returned from jog only to be surprised to see Malini was up and ready sitting in the living between her mothers. Her sheepish smile was enough for him to confirm that she upto some plan. He stared at her for a while and left upstairs and came down after finishing his chores.
Malini: Raghav readya? ( Raghav are you ready ?)
Raghav: Madam ippo enga ready irukinga adhuvum ivlo morning. ( Madam, where are you ready so early in the morning ?)
Malini: Enna Raghav. I have my exams in 4 days so I m going to temple to pray for final semester.
Raghav: Oh is it Malini
Malini: Yes Raghav. If you are free can you accompany me please?
Sujatha: Raghav nee kooda po illana engayachum oor sutha poiduva friends kooda. ( Raghav you accompany her or she will go around for roaming )
Devika: Aama da neeyum po. ( yes man you too go )
Raghav: Ungala yellam patha yedho nalla plan potu panra mathiri irukke. ( Looking at you all seems like you have planned something)
Malini: Enna Raghav nee Kovil ku poga kooda sandhega padra. apram naa fail aana needhan reason solliten. ( Why are you doubting even when we say to go for temple ? The you will be the reason if I fail)
Raghav: Exam la pass panna olunga padi adhu podhum. ( Read well to pass you exam )
Malini: thappu thappu sami kanna kuthum. Nalla padichalum Sami asirvadham venum. Correct dhane mummy. (wrong god will pierce your eyes. We need god’s blessings even if we study well. Am I right mommy ?)
Sujatha & Devika : Ama correct correct neenga ponga. ( Yes correct now you both go )
Rraghav: Breakfast saptu polam. ( We will leave after having breakfast)
Malini: No no. Na kovil ku poitu vandhu dhan sapduven. ( No, no we will have it after returning from temple)
Raghav Mv: Confirm Plan pottuta. Seri povom enna than panra pakkalam. ( Sure she has planned. hmm lets go and see what she has planned)
Raghav: Vaa polam. ( come lets go)
Malini hugged her mothers and went out and saw Raghav waiting for her in car. She sat in the passenger seat. Last night incident flashed for Raghav when he held her hands on his waist. He shook of those thoughts and drove to the temple which was said by Malini.
Raghav: Yen pakkathula irukka kovil ku pona enna? Ivlo distance la irukka kovilku than varanuma? ( Why what will happen if we go the near by temple ? We should come to a temple so far is it ?)
Malini: Indha sami romba powerful theriyuma namma enna kettalum tharuma. Adhan inga vara sonnen. ( this god is very powerful you know ? Whatever we pray for will be granted that is why I wanted to come here )
Raghav: Va ulla polam. ( come lets go inside)
They went inside and prayed.
Raghav: Kadavule Malini apram enga parents eppavum sandhoshama irukanum. Please vera edhuvum vena. ( God, Malini and our parents should be happy always. Please I don’t wish for anything else)
Malini: Kadavule Raghav apram enga parents eppavum happy ah irukkanum. please. ( God, Raghav and our parents should be happy forever. please)
After finishing their prayers they came out and Raghav started car while Malini poke his arm with her finger.
Raghav:Enna vaa polam. ( What ? come lets go)
Malini: Raghav romba pasikudhu pa. saptu polama? ( Raghav I m so hungry shall we leave after having breakfast ?)
Raghav bit his cheeks to control his smile at her plannings.
Raghav: Seri seri vaa. (ok ok come)
They drove to a nearby restaurant and had breakfast. Malini ate as slow as possible delaying the time.
Raghav: Malini lunch ku saptu finish pannuviya? ( Malini will finish by the lunch time?)
She finished and they started to drive back but Malini pulled Raghav’s shirt and asked him to stop within some time.
Raghav: Ippo enna? ( What now ?)
Malini: Raghav anga paaru phoenix mall. Namma vandhu evlo naal achu. Summa konja neram ulla poitu varalama? Yedhuvum purchase panna vendam just time pass.( Raghav look there is phoenix mall. Its been long we came here. Shall we spend a little time inside ? We need not do any shopping just time pass)
Raghav glared at her making her gulp but Malini being the rowdy doesn’t give up and stared back at him and suddenly changed her looks to sad one.
Malini: Ippo lam unakku en mela pasame illa. Enna kettalum moraikkura ( You don’t care for me these days. You only give a angry stare for whatever I ask )
Raghav Mv: Right innaikku oru mudivoda than irukka. ( Good, she is upto something today)
Raghav: Malini ma mall ku thane ponum kootitu poren adhukku ivlo acting venam. ( Malini you wanted to go to the mall then its ok I will take you please stop your acting)
Malini: Naa acting la pannala. nee onnum enna kootitu poga vena vaa veetutkku polam. (I m not acting. You need not take to there we shall return home)
Raghav: Appadiya seri vaa veetukke polam. ( Is it ? ok then lets go home)
Malini: Illa illa (no no)
Raghav: Nee dhane sonna ( You only said that)
Malini: Seri seri vaa mall ku polam. ( ok ok lets go the mall)
Raghav hid his smile and drove to the mall and they walked hand in hand roaming to all floors. After about two hours they came out Raghav holding the bags of dress and soft dolls Malini purchased and dumped in the back seat and started to drive again.
Malini: Semmaya irundhuchu la. Kaal valikudhu pa ( It was so good right ? My legs are paining so bad)
Raghav: veetukku poi rest edu seri ayidum. ( You will feel good when you get some rest after returning home)(
They drove listening to their favourite songs while her mobile rang from one of her school friend.
Malini: Hello sollu di how are you? ( hey tell me how are you ?)
Friend: i m fine. I knew you got married. Congrats di.
Malini: Thanks di. Raghav than mapla. ( Raghav is the groom)
Friend: Therinjadhu dhane. Apram eppadi pogudhu marriage life. ( Its known one. how is your marriage life ?)
Malini: Ayyo yen kekkura Raghav morning la irundhu enna veliya kootitu suthuraru. Nethum resort friends kooda surprise dinner. Ippo than mall vittu velila vandhom shopping kootitu ponaru. evening movie vera book panni irukaru.
( Why do you even ask that, Raghav took me out today and we are roaming. even yesterday he took to a resort and surprised dinner with friends. He took me for shopping and just now we walked out of mall. Evening he has booked for movie too)
All words from Malini stirred some emotions in Raghav. He knew that moment that if they weren’t giving some time for themselves it would have portrayed in a diferent manner to others though he decided to stay home only for her studies. He enjoyed when she spoke to her friend about their marriage life without giving up on him. He now knew that they wanted some memories on this phase of being newly married if not as couple atleast as friends that they enjoyed and didn’t regret marrying each other. Now he had to make more plans to have more memories with her.
His train of thoughts were broken when Malini shook his shoulder.
Malini: Raghav how long do I need to call you. on earth man.
Raghav: what happen ?
Malini: Enna yosikkura? ( what are you thinking ?)
Raghav: Illa ma inga pakkuthula oru pudhu Italian restaurant open panni irukanga polama? ( Nothing, there is a new italian restaurant opened here nearby shall we go ?)
Malini: nejamava kekkura. illa kindal panriya ( Are you asking for real or you are teasing me ?)
Raghav: Malini ma naa yen unna tease panna poren. ( Malini why will I tease you ?)
Malini: Appo polam. ( Then lets go)
Raghav drove to the restaurant and to his irritation he saw Vineet nearby with a girl. Raghav diverted Malini from seeing at his side and took her inside the restaurant not before giving a bloodshot glare at him. He took Malini’s mobile from her and switched it off.
Malini: Raghav super ah irukku indha restaurant. ( Raghav this restaurant is so nice)
Raghav: colleague oruthar sonnaru. Nanum first time varen. ( One of colleague said about this. Its my first time too)
They got settled and ordered their favourite pasta and desserts and waited for the order.
Raghav: Malini amma appa lam romba stressed ah irukanga. unnoda exam apram avanga eallariyum oru tour anupina enna? ( Malini mom and dad are all stressed . how about we send them for a vacation after your exam ?)
Malini: Super idea nammalum polam. ( Super idea, we shall also with them ?)
Raghav: Maa naa office ku evlo leave podradhu. Avanga mattum pogattum konjam relax ah feel pannuvanga. ( For how long will I extend my leave at office ? Let them go alone and they will feel relaxed)
Malini: Neeyum office poiduva appo naa enna panradhu? ( even you will go to office and what will I do )
Raghav: Venum na work from home extend panren so that if any emergaecy na mattum office pora mathiri plan panren. ( May be I will extend work from home so that I will visit office if there is any emergency)
Malnin: Appo ok. (then ok)
Raghav: Seri enga poga sollalam. ( Fine where should we send them ?)
Malini: Simla.. semma kulu kulu nu irukkum. ( simla, it will be very cool)
Raghav Mv: Olunga munnadiye love ah feel panni irundha inneram namma honeymoon ku simla enna switzerland kooda poi irukalam. enna panradhu ( If only we had realized our love then we could have gone to simla or even switzerland for our honeymoon. What to do ?)
Malnin: Enna yosikura? ( What are you thinking ?)
Raghav: Seri ma angaye poga sollama. Exam mudinja odane pesalam. ( Ok then we will tell them to go there only. We will talk once you rexams are over)
Soon their orders were served and they enjoyed it. Raghav saw Vineet few tables away and watching them. He deliberately wanted to annoy him and took a spoon of mushrrom briyani from his plate and moved near Malini.
Raghav: Malini idha taste paaru romba different irukku. ( Malini taste this, its very different)
Malini too ate from his spoon and moaned to its taste in turn she took the pasta from her plate and fed him to taste it. Raghav relished it and saw sauce in the corner of her mouth. He wiped the sauce with his thumb and licked it looking at Vineet who was still glaring at them. Malini who was used to all this caring o Raghav from her childhood didn’t find any difference until his thumb touched her lips and her friend’s words flashed her mind.
Malini Mv: Malini don’t think too much and make him feel awkward.
Raghav: Malini vera yedhachum order pannalama? ( malini do you want order something else?)
Malini: hmm ice cream.
They got their ice creams and continued eating with their sharing as usual and later they left the restaurant with Raghav’s hand on her back as they walked out. Vineet excused from Tara and came out to see them leave like newly wed romantic couple.
Vineeth Mv: Did she really move on from me so easily or did she fake loved me. Was I a fool. Did I make things easy for her by deciding let her go ?
Tara: Vineet Whom are looking at ?
Vineeth: Nothing looked like my friend but no.
They returned to their table for lunch. Raghav drove aimlessly humming some song while Malini was looking at him who was behaving differently.
Malini: Hello Mr. Raghav enna panringa? ( hello Mr. Raghav what are you doing ?)
Raghav: Onnum illa Mrs. Raghav (nothing Mrs. Raghav). he bit his tongue for the sudden blurt out and turned to look her if he embarrased her but she looked plain with no reaction.
Raghav: Sorry just yedho oru flow la solliten. ( Sorry, I just blurted out )
Malini: Unma dhane vidu( but it was true only so leave that). Where are we going now?
Raghav: Movie ku innum oru 3 hours irukku so veetukku poitu varanum na tired ayidum la so namma andha mall la time spend pannalam. ( There is 3 more hours for movie and we will feel tired if go home and drive back again so we will spend time in the mall only)
Malnin: Already purchase pannitom ippo enna pandradhu anga poitu? ( We already did shopping so what will we do going there ?)
Raghav: Amma, appa ku lam purchase pannalam avanga simla poga surprise ah tharalam. ( We will do shopping for mom and dad. We will surprise them for the Simla vacation)
Malini: Nee eppadi pa ippadi irukka. Ivlo perfect ah? ( How are you like this ?)
Raghav: Rendu perla yarachum oruthar ippadi irukanum la. ( Atleast one of us should like this right?)
Malini: hmmm… enna sonna ( What did you say ?)
She hit him on his shoulder.
Raghav: Seri ma summa sonnen. En Malini romba brilliant. ok va. ( I was just kidding. My Malini is very brilliant. is it ok ?)
En Malini hit her differently when heard now that brought a smile on her lips. After finishing their purchase they reached the theatre. Malini was busy in buying her popcorn bucket that she didn’t notice Vineet again at their back but Raghav was quick to notice him and moved towards Malini and held her close to keep her from the crowd and entered his the theatre. They settled down and Raghav noticed Vineet was to their front on the other side and could see them.
Raghav Mv: Mavane feel pannu va da nee innaikku. ( Man, you will feel bad today for sure )
Raghav gave a smirk and turned his face towards the screen letting his mind to start its devil side come out for a while to show how naughty he can be.
