Recap: Raghav and Malini return from Mysore

Raghav was getting ready for his first day at office. Malini was walking behind him as he moved around the room. The new joined maid was preparing breakfast in the kitchen.
Raghav: Malini safe ah iru. ( Malini, be safe)
Malini: haannn (ok)
Raghav: Yedhachum venum na Krithi kitta kelu ( Ask Krithi, if you need something)
Malini: Hannn (ok)
Raghav: Maid akka pona apram Krithi kooda venum nalum poi iru ( Once the maid leaves go stay with Krithi if you want )
Malini: haan (ok)
Raghav: Olunga lunch sapdanum (have your lunch properly)
Malini: haan (ok)
Raghav: Don’t be scared
Malini: haan (ok)
Raghav: aprom (then )
Malini : haaan…. (ok)
Raghav stopped and turned to her.
Raghav: Naa ippo yedhuvum sollalaye appo ivlo neram chumma than haan sonniya ( I haven’t told anything now so you were not listening to me so far )
Malini: illa pa. Morning la irundhu evlo vati solluva. Nee than first day office pora. ( No, From morning you have been saying so many times. Its you going to join your first day in office ) Go safe, have lunch at time. Get new friends, All the best for your job.
Raghav: Thank you.
They had breakfast together and Raghav moved towards the door to leave for office but stopped when Malini called him. He turned and saw her walking towards him. Malini cupped his cheeks and gave a peck on his forehead.
Malini: Devi ma irundha idhan panni irupanga. I know you missed her today that is why room appadi nadandhutu irundha. Nee dhane sonna nanum unna amma mathiri pathuppen appo adhan..
(Devi maa would have done this if she was here. I know you missed her today and that is why you were pacing in the room and you already said that I will take care of you like a mother that is why..)
Raghav pulled and hugged her tightly and a lone tear escaped his eyes which he wiped even before she could see.
Raghav: Yes, Malu you are my amma. Thank you so much. I feel so energetic and confident now.
Malini caressed his back and pulled back from the hug. He put a thin line of the holy ash on his forehead.
Malin: ok bye now. Will meet evening.
Raghav: bye..
Raghav started his car and called Krithi and informed her to take care of Malini and drove to his office. He was given a warm welcome by the employees as he will be their new manager of that branch and after a brief introduction he went to his cabin and started with his work. since it was the first day he had to meet the project leads and discuss the progress of the projects and details regarding it but he managed to call Malini to check on her a few times.
Evening Malini and Krithi were in the park for a walk.
Malini: Anni unga onnu kekkanum ( sister in law, i want to ask you something)
Krithika: sollu ma (tell me)
Malini: You and anna were friends from childhood then how and when did you realize your love for him ?
Krithika: I know you will ask this question one day. Seri first tell me how is your life going ?

Incase if you are in some trouble who will be first on your mind to reach for help?

Is there someone whose touch doesn’t make you uncomfortable?

(Answer for all these question will be the one person and that is your husband. you should give a face to that husband. you should decide if that should be Raghav)
Malini: Idhukku answer therinja podhuma? ( Ist it enough if I find the answers for this ?)
Their convo was interruppted when they heard Raghav’s voice.
Krithika: Seri we will speak tomorrow don’t confuse yourself until then.
Malini: hmm seringa anni. (ok sister in law)
Raghav: Enna walking mudinjudha? ( Was your walking over ?)
Malini: Enna pa first day late agum pathen. ( i thought you will be late on your first day ?)
Raghav: illa ma nee thaniya iruppa la adhan vandhutten. (No, you would be alone so I left early)
Krithika: Seri vanga veetukku polam. (ok come lets go home)
Raghav held Malini’s hand and they went to their home. Raghav moved to the washroom to refresh. Like a kid who recites about his day at school to his mom Raghav recited all his day at his office to Malini. She listened to him with his every words.
Raghav made chutney and dosa for dinner and they finished dinner over kitchen counter and Malini cleaned the plates and returned to their room. Raghav was tired and the work for next was awaiting so he slept quickly. Malini laid next to him and her thoughts wandered back to Krithi’s questions.
Malini Mv: Appa , amma apram nee thane Raghav enmela avlo care panra. Chinna vayasula irundhu ennoda ella phase of life layum nee than irundha. Eppo problem vandhalum unakku than first call pannuven. ( After amma and appa you are the one who cares for me Raghav. You have been with me in every phase of my life. I would always call you the first when I m stuck with problem. You would guess that I m in a problem even before I could realize it. I would have you in prayers when I pray that my amm, appa and you should be happy)
Her thoughts went back to the birthday 2 years back.
Flashback:
Malini was awake as usual to take the blessings and gifts from her parents and Raghav. At 12 her appa, amma and sister wished her and gave her gifts. She thanked them and returned to her room and waited for Raghav’s wish. There was calls continuously from her friends but she didn’t attend any of her friend’s call and waited for his call. Nearly after an hour there was a knock on her door and she opened to find Raghav standing with a sheepish smile but she was angry on him for not wishing her at 12 and hit him on his chest.
Malini: Yedhukku call pannala. Naa wait pannuven theriyum la. ( Why didn’t he call ? he know I would wait)
Raghav: Iru ma unakku gift venama. ( Wait dear, don’t you want the gift ?)
Malini: Onnum venam po. ( I don’t want )
Raghav: First gift paaru apram venuma venama sollu. Adhukku munnadi lights off pannanum. ( First look at the gift then decide if you want it or not. Before that switch off the lights)
He switched off the lights and gave her a gift which was a bottle filled with fireflies. Instantly there was happiness on her face and she hugged him.
Raghav: Happy birthday Malini ma.
Malini: Super ah irukku gift. Thank you Raghav. i love this gift. (gift is super )
She opened the bottle and all the fireflies flew around her in the room and she squealed in joy and tried to catch.
Malini: Podhum window open pannidalam. (enough, we will open the windows)
Raghav: Podhuma. free pannidalama? ( Enough , shall we set them free ?)
Malini: hmmm. free ah fly pannattum. (let them fly free)
They opened the window and balcony and the fireflies flew away.
Raghav: Idha kondu vara than late ayiduchu. Adhukkulla ivlo kovam ( I got late in getting the. You are angry for that)
Malini: Sorry pa.

Those memories instantly brought smile to her face.
Malini Mv: Unna thavira vera yaar enakku wish pannanum nu expect pannuven. (Whom will I want to wish me other than you ?)
Suddenly Raghav turned in his sleep and wrapped his hand on her shoulder and she blushed to his touch.
Malini Mv: Idhukku munnadi kooda touch panni irukka but ippo vera feel varudhu aana uncomfortable ah illa. Romba pidichu irukku Raghav. Unakkum different ah irukka ? ( You have touched me before but I feel different now in a comfortable way. I like this Raghav. Do you feel this too ?)

The very recent incident at Mysore made her realize the care he has for her and the way he tries to protect for her and stands for her. The way he beat the man flashed her minds.
Krithi anni sonna questions ellathukum answer nee than Raghav. Ennoda husband character ku face kudutha adhu nee than Raghav. unakku naa wife ah theriyurana? Indha friendship thaandi indha husband relationship eppadi proceed panradhu therila.
( All the questions which Krithi SIL said has one answer and that is you Raghav. If I give a face to my husband character then its you Raghav. Do I look like your wife ? I don’t know how should I proceed our relationship beyond friendship)
She dozed of just staring at his face. Morning Raghav felt a weight on his chest and opened his eyes and saw Malini sleeping with her head on his chest. The moment he saw her all his sleepiness flew away and there was a wide smile on his face. He took his mobile from the night stand and clicked a selfie of them sleeping intimately and moved it to a personal folder.
He was supposed to in office for a meeting so he kissed her hair and with heavy heart unwillingly and slowly moved her to the bed and went to get ready. Malini woke up to the alarm of her mobile and saw Raghav missing and her face turned grumpy. She moved to the front door and took the milk packet and their maid Vanaja also arrived by the time.
Malini: akka breakfast simple ah yedhachum ready pannidunga. Raghav seekiram office poraru. (sister, prepare simple breakfast, Raghav is leaving to office)
Vanaja: Seri ma panniduren. (ok, I will do it )
Malini moved back to room and continued to be grumpy. Raghav came out after his bath and saw her and squinted his eyes.
Raghav: Enna ma. yen ippadi irukka ? ( what dear, why are you looking like that ?)
She turned her face and denied looking at him. He came sat next to her still with only a towel around his waist.
Raghav: Malini enna nu sollu ( Malini, tell me what is it ?)
Malini: Namma rendu peru thane irukkom. Morning endhiricha odane pakkathula yarum illana eppadi irukkum. Yenna eluppi vittutu poi irukalam la. ( Only we two are at home. It feels bad when there is no one next to us when we wake up. Why can’t you wake me before you left?)
Raghav felt happy that she wished him next to her when she woke up. Yes she would be equally happy as him when he saw her in the mornings when he woke up.
Raghav: Sorry ma. Ini eppovum nee ippadi nadakadhu. Nee kanmuzhikkum podhu naa pakkathula than iruppen. (sorry, It won’t happen ever again. I will benext to you when you wake up)
Malini: Nejama? (really?)
Raghav: Promise
Malini: Eppavum iruppiya? ( Will you be there forever?))
Raghav: Eppavum iruppen ma. ( I will be, forever)
Malini: Sorry pa. Morning pakkathula nee illa nu odane oru mathiri ayiduchu. (sorry, I felt bad not finding you when I woke up)
Raghav: Paravala. Nee solradhum correct dhane. Namakku enna venum nu sonna thane theriyum. So namma open ah solli seri pannikalam. ( It sok, You are right. We will know what we want only if we voice it out)
Malini: hmm. ok you get ready to office.
Raghav: Ellam seri yen andha pakkamathu pesitu irukka. enna pakka matra ( Everything is ok but why are you talking to me facing other side ?)
Malini: Adhu lam onnum illa naa poi ready ayitu varen. ( Nothing, I will get ready )
She ran to the bath room but her blush struck him that he was in a towel all this while.
